Spring's Featured Artist: Elizabeth Switaj
Artist's Statement:
As a photographer, I am always looking for moments and places of transition, the line between one state and the other, or a thematic contrast instead of a merely chromatic one. Sunset, in these images, may be the most obvious, but there is also the interaction between light and solid as well as the cycles of nature and what humans build in resistance. Sometimes this may mean crossing the line between recording and creating (as in fact there is no line — but rather, a spectrum).
