Artist's Statement:

My whimsical and campy, yet edgy paintings, create a perceived representation of my subjects, based on my intellectual and emotional response to them. Interiors and Jazz themes are my main attraction, but music, colour, and twentieth century cultural iconic man-made items, such as furniture, are mymuse.

"In my exuberant designs, I juxtapose the organic and man-made, while combining a sense of both fantasy and reality. The results are interiors and florals with the purpose of being recognizable, while at the same time, sharing abstract tendencies.

"I enjoy pushing the boundaries and diversity of these themes so my choices of subjects are somewhat theatrical and over the top."
