Wolff Bowdengrew up in the cypress swamps of Chuluota, Florida, swimming with moccasins, dancing with dragonflies, absorbing the art of the wild. He learned to paint before he learned to walk, and earns his living as a professional artist and poet. Wolff won first place in the Sarasota Reading Festival's Poetry Contest in 1998 and was named ARTIST OF THE MILLENNIUM in Miami for his mixed-media, "Primordialist" paintings. His poetry has appeared in numerous literary journals, including flashquake, The Sarasota Review, The Madison Review and Folio. His collection "Orphanage of Imagination" was published in 2002.
