Nathan Guy
Artist's Statement:
My inspiration comes from all areas. I like to sketch in pencil
because it's a readily available medium, and requires little investment, but
provides great satisfaction. I like honing in on finite details that most
people don't see. To me, a worthwhile piece of art is something that touches
the viewer in a way they can't express.
Artist's Biography:
Nathan Guy is a first-year college student who has been sketching
since the age of three when he first caught sight of a yellow crane. The
"big, big and big machine" showed him, at a very early age, how vast the
world and how limitless his imagination. He is responsible for all the
artwork at the ReadingWriters website and The VERB writing e-zine.
Goran Dacev
Artist's Statement:
I'm an old fan of Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy literature, sometimes my art work reflects these genres. While my comics are made the traditional way (black ink), my SF/H/F art is almost always (90%) in Photoshop. Artists working in this type of art that I really respect are Frazetta, one of the old masters, and Dave McKean now.
Artist's Biography:
Goran Dacev was born on May 24th 1970, in Skopje R.Macedonia (South East Europe).
