In my series "Entropy of the Mundane" I am exploring the decay of everyday objects including plants, animals, and manmade objects. There is a sort of unspoken dignity in these images, a quiet desperation. The desperate beauty of dead and dying things.

I am especially influenced by religious and spiritual ideas; supernatural figures from both Christian and pagan lore tend to dominate my work. I also have a great interest in Celtic and medieval legend and artwork. I play guitar in my spare time, and my musical influences also appear every once in a while in my art. I tend to use mixed media — usually acrylic being the common factor — but I am always open to trying new things. Recently I've been experimenting with silkscreen and sculpture.
