We were saddened to hear of the passing on June 7 of Vicki Graf, a talented writer and a compassionate human being. Vicki's first fiction publication, Iron Butterfly, was one of flashquake's nominations for the 2004 Pushcart Prize. Vicki faced many challenges in her life, and rose above them all with strength and grace. On behalf of the editorial staff of flashquake, we extend our condolences to her family and friends.
