Welcome to flashquake's third anniversary celebration! With this issue, we officially begin our fourth year of publication. We hope you like our new look. If you have any comments, complaints or other words you'd like to fling our way, please use the "Make Contact" link at the bottom of the page to send us a note.
To celebrate our anniversary, guest editor Michael S. McKlusky ("Punster" to his pals) has provided an interactive Editor's Corner for your consideration. We liked this idea, and if it becomes popular, we might make it a regular feature.
Our guest editor for the Winter reading period will be Michael Wilson. Michael has been teaching creative writing classes and facilitating writer’s groups for over 7 years and was an award-winning Contributing Editor for The Writer’s Block at Suite101.com. He has a BA (with Honors) in English from Ohio University, and has been a featured guest speaker at the Thurber House, the Maumee Valley Writers Conference and the Columbus Writers Conference. He is also the publisher and editor of Grist for the Muse a monthly creative writing newsletter. His first book: Flash Writing: How to Write, Revise and Publish Stories Under 1000 Words Long, will be published in 2004.
