A green pod-like form and stiletto blade form an abstract composition in intense sun light. The light makes pure white highlights and deep black shadows. The form, an unopened bird-of-paradise bud, is in very tight focus but taken at such close range it is impossible to read the object for what it is but forms a dazzling abstract carved with light.
