Blue sky, white and red painted adobe slice the frame into large geometric blocks of color. Three spikes of wrought iron stand starkly against the clear blue sky and base of black shadow puts a footing beneath the composition. The strong simple geometry of the composition is flag like and evocative of the scene from which the name is drawn.
