A dark wood chair sits in the stream of the sunlight coming through a window.  The intensity of the sun bleaches the color of the wood floor to form a light neutral background for the heavy shadows.  The cane seat of the chair is projected in great detail onto the floor.  Highlights of intense blue glint off the deep woods and rich browns of the picture.
