Abandoned sailboat by Patti Cassidy

A weathered hull of a small sailboat nestles into the deep shadows and a bed of dried leaves.  A wedge of deepest black runs from the top right corner to the mid point of the left side.  The boat forms a second wedge of white.  Both the shadow and boat are smooth flat wedges of color and contract with the brighter and heavily textured bed of brown leaves that forms the last third of the frame.
