Although living in Wisconsin for most of her adult life, Kathleen Kersch Simandl is enjoying her retirement in Mexico. The transition from teaching English in the public schools to writing Flash Fiction was an easy one. The transition from teaching art to taking photographs was equally natural. And, although Kathy has had several of her stories printed on-line, this is her first photo submission.
